Canon PIXMA iP6700D Photo Printer Review
here's a review from an amazon customer and I hope this review helfpul for you.
here's "
I am a very loyal consumer and will generally stay with the specific brands I buy. This was true with Epson printers that I have purchased for many years. Common sense finally took hold after the last tank change and subsequent 6 head cleanings before a good print could be made, not to mention almost 1/4 of the tank depleted. (at least by their monitoring system) Tired of wasted ink and paper, nozzle cleans, tank changes for 1 low color, etc., I decieded to make the change to Canon and purchased the ip6700D. Setup on my Intel driven Imac was a breeze! Talk about instant gratification! My very first print came out flawless with better resolution and sharpness than any Epson I have owned. I even had to look to see if it was doing anything during printing, unlike the Epson that was only rivaled by the dishwasher for making noise! Individual print setup was also a snap. The quality, paper and other parameters were simple utilizing the supplied software. I found the "trimming" capabilities were better and easier than some of my high dollar graphic programs I have. I printed out a box (100) of 4" x 6" prints, one after the other and didn't lose 1 sheet from a malfunction of the printer. No head cleaning. no alignments, no getting ready to do a tank change! Nothing but high quality prints. At least the remaining Epson borderless premium glossy paper worked well.
I guess I will pass this along as getting wiser with age and not putting up with poor performance again with using an Epson. Why did I wait so long? You won't be dissapointed with the ip6700D.

Canon i470D Photo Printer Review
The Canon i470D Photo Printer delivers high-quality photos from your computer or directly from removable memory, here's review from an amazon customer about Canon i470D Photo Printer
I've been looking for a while to replace my lagging Lexmark printer. I found a great deal on this Canon printer. I checked the reviews, which were mostly very favorable. I purchased it without hesitation. I'm glad I did.By R. Hessler (Ohio)
It does not come with a USB cable, so expect to purchase one. It does come with a sample pack of 5 - 4x6 Canon picture paper, so you don't even need to purchase paper first to test it out. And it does come with a cartriage of color and black ink, both need to be installed. In addition, the cost of the ink is lower than many other printers, ranging about $10 a cartriage.
The software is very nice, so far. You open up their picture printer program. Select the photo(s) you want to print, then you choose from the paper types, from 4x6 to 8-1/2x11 and then how you want the photo(s) printed, ie with/without a border. Pretty much just a three step process.
The results? OY! The pictures are really fantastic. Now I must state that the quality of the print will be based more on the quality of the picture (jpeg/gif/bmp) you are printing. For example, I took a jpeg that I had from my website. In order to use it on my website, I needed to cut the resolution down. When I printed the that picture (4x6), there was a noticable grain to the photo quality. This is not in any way the fault of the printer. When I took a similar jpeg and printed it at its original resolution, the quality was as if I got the picture from a photo store. I decided to take a high resolution jped, about 12 MB, and print it 8-1/2x11. The quality was excellent. I won't say it was perfect. Upon close inspection, ie staring right in front of it, you'll notice slight indications that it was printed, however, I couldn't guarantee that you could go to a photo store and get a better quality image reproduction. However, from just casually looking at the picture, the quality is excellent.
The speed is pretty nice, about 1 4x6 in 40 seconds. Normal print outs are obviously faster, though I haven't done much with that. One other thing to bring, the paper feeder seems very reliable. My Lexmark needed to be manually feed, one sheet at a time, to print and that was such a hassle. However, this printer has a great feeder.
Overall, this product is excellent. Remember to get a USB cable to go along with it.

HP Laserjet 1018 Printer Review
Here's a review from amazon customer about HP Laserjet 1018 Printer
I hope this review helful for you.
here's :
This printer is okay, but I was disappointed to learn that:
* It has no parallel port. It seems that most modern printers only connect via a USB port. That's a real problem if you're using a DOS based word processor, because DOS programs don't recognize USB ports. So you must go through all sorts of computer hoops and patches, and find drivers, to work around it. If you can even do that.
Of course, this should not be an issue for most users. But if it is, then be aware of it.
* The tray only holds 150 pages. When it runs out of paper, it stops printing. And unlike the older HP 5P, when you reload it with pages, it doesn't automatically start printing again. You have to hit the "Retry" command via the computer.
* The tray is uncovered, so the pages collect dust.
* This 1018 is of flimsier build than older bottom-rung HP laser printers. It seems that HP is now targeting the low-end laser market, with more cheaply built printers.
Of course, those older bottom-rung HPs weren't cheap. My first laser printer was the bottom-rung HP 2P, which I bought in 1990 for $900. It was still working in 1995, when I traded it in for an HP 5P -- which cost nearly as much and is still going strong.
I don't expect this HP 1018 to last as long, but it's still a good buy. It includes a print cartridge, which is a $90 value -- so it's like buying a cartridge and getting a printer tossed it for practically free.
Some people have complained of its slow speed, but until now I was using the HP 5P which runs at 6 ppm, so the 1018's 12 ppm seems very fast to me.
I only wish this 1018 had a parallel port. Since it doesn't, this HP 1018 will supplement my HP 5P.

HP Deskjet 2360 Printer Review
Here's review from HP Deskjet 2360 Printer
from an amazon customer, I hope this review helpul for you.
I bought this printer for my wife to keep on her nighttable when the old Epson printer she had ran out of ink. I priced new cartridges, thought about the slow speed of the printer she was using, and then decided to just chuck the old printer and buy this HP printer for 49 bucks. Of course, it came with two new ink cartridges to boot! I always use HP printers in my work and have found them to last long and provide consistent, reliable output. So far this little cheapie hasn't disappointed. It was easy to set up, easy to get it to work on my wife's unfortunate Windoze laptop (I use Macs almost exclusively), it's faster and produces better output quality than that nasty old Epson.By J. Friedman "J-F" (Upstate NY USA)
I think I'll keep her!
My wife, that is. And we'll keep the printer, too!

Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One Photo Printer with Easy Scroll Wheel review
Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One Photo Printer with Easy Scroll Wheel review from amazon customer,
you can read it below and I hope it helful for you
I've had this printer for about a month, and so far found it excellent at everything. I had been using an Epson printer and scanner and both turned into nightmares, I find this machine to be light years ahead, especially in speed and ease of use.
It's easy to setup, the software is easy to use, it's quiet and it prints fast!
Text is nice and crisp, it gives you 3 different settings to choose from, even the fast mode is good quality for most uses if you want to save ink.
Copies are quick and easy and very good quality.
Photos are very sharp, have good contrast, colors are rich overall. Comparing a portrait type shot to the same one I had printed at a lab, It was tough to tell any difference, except this one was a bit lighter. This was on Epson paper, have not tried Canon paper yet which is supposed to work best.
Scanner is easy to use, relatively fast, and quality seems very good.
Overall this machine is a pleasure to use with impressive quality.
